LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS

Relationship is a road to the mystery of life and love is the gel that binds the bricks of this road. It is at times very simple to feel the gel between the two and at times one keeps on rolling down the lanes of the whirlpool that surrounds both of them. If love and relationship was so simple to understand, it would have been possible for all of us to live in peace and harmony but it is the pain that comes as a package with love that makes the road to ecstasy of life more memorable. If ecstasy of love is what, one is truly looking for, then one must believe that it’s the relationship that adds fuel to it. Love and relationship are two sides of the same coin that cannot be separated, but yet are so far from each other that one side cannot feel the other and its this hidden secret of love and relationship that has compelled and forced people from diverse cultural and geographical backgrounds, to look deep into the hidden secrets of both of them.

Love, if believed, from the scientific perspective, is nothing but a combination of chemical events that is triggered by the brain. But if it is true then why do we not fall in love ever and why is it that we fall in love many times in our life. Here love should not be misunderstood with the boy and girl chemistry but with a broader perspective, in which one falls in love with nature, family and friends. But then it is a debatable topic and needs a deeper understanding of the matter. Love for the time being for all of us in the current era is nothing less then breath of life. It is the feeling that supersedes our every other thought. One who falls in love can feel, smell and even touch the feeling of being in love. Not only that he or she can listen to and talk to love. It is the power of love that forces us to act like that. Trust your senses then , if you have not felt this sweet pain ever and you will feel in love with, love.

It is love that marks the beginning of a relationship. But it should be understood that it is not only love that is the only factor that binds two people to take the path of a relationship, there are other factors too that play an equally important role. It is the sense of privacy that each one of us, who have ever fallen in love give to one other, and providing one another the sense of privacy becomes even more important due to the fact that privacy issues are further exacerbated now that people are not willing to live together for their entire lives, it is the control that one has over his or her mind, it is sense of being an independent person inspite of being in a relationship that is important to generate the sense of being in love. And it is the feeling of being in love that generates trust in one another. This trust is very important to create loyalty towards one another. And contrary to what most of us think, it is not love but loyalty to each other that forms the foundation stones for a healthy and prosperous relationship.

It is loyalty and trust that help in bridging the gap between love and relationship. And in order to live a happy relationship, it is important for each one of us to walk on the path of trust and loyalty. But then this does not undermine the importance of love in a relationship.

To live a relationship successfully in this world, you will have to understand all the aspects of love and relationships. You will need to focus your efforts on love, and not on worldly things. The central proposition, the defining goal, for any relationship in this world, is love and respect in a relationship.

DREAM

Some times in our lives in the silence of the night when we wake up and look ferociously for the reason as to why did we break up with our dream, we realise the fact how important dreams are for us.

Dream are the unconquered visions of our future or past , which somehow have appeared in the realm of our eyes by the grace of our powerful thoughts that surround the imaginations of our undiscovered self. It is in fact the spiritual self that we see through our eyes. It is the magnate of heart that reflects its holy self in the darkness of our soul. It is sometimes difficult to even interpret what our dreams are up to, but that is the mystery of our dreams that make them so beautiful and intriguing that one is forced to believe in some supernatural force. And what if yourself let you to a secret of the nature that this supernatural force is within you. Though not a new concept, but if one puts a thought into the black and white lines above, it should be virtually clear to him as to what I mean. There is no denying of the fact that dreams are mere imaginations but then so strong are they that one is glued to it for his entire life. It is the mere feeling of dropping into this blurred vision of our thoughts that we feel enlightened and help ourselves to come out of the disturbing thoughts of the brutal world behind us. Behind us because dreams are always ahead of time be it in the past or in the future. In the present we are but alive when we are dreaming.

Much has been written and spoken of dreams since ages. But no body talks about feeling and touching our own dreams. Not only that no one even wants to achieve the ambition of talking to his own dreams. It is a bizarre fact, but believe the depth of the darkness of night and the scorching sunlight, dreams force us to make decisions in life that are unthinkable, unimaginable and unconquerable. Dreams teach us a very important lesson, lesson of not even wasting a single dew of our time, even when we are sleeping. It is the fascination of dreams, that our thirsty eyes look for, even before going to sleep. Lucky are the people who can see dreams, they are the one’s who really don’t let go any of the endless force, anger, power , endeavour, energy and timeless effort that our heart pumps in through our veins and arteries.

One only needs a little beam of the hidden thought, buried within his endless wrinkles of his own life time and one comes to know about, quite a strange fact. Fact that teaches us , as to how easy it is to feel our own dreams. Here one should not think about making ones dreams a commercial reality. What one must try to achieve is feeling the feeling of being in the ocean of dreams and yet be as vigilant and alive as a hawk in the midst of a storm. There is a purpose for everything and our purpose should be to bring the feeling of dream a dreamable reality. At times we notice that when we wake up in the early in the morning , messed up with our selves and start looking into the mirror we find ourselves distorted, twisted out of shape and unpleasant, if given a little more thought we can find at the same time that there is a feeling of being too close to heaven, the feeling of achievement, the feeling of success, the feeling of anxiety and the feeling of ecstasy, this is nothing but the feel of our dreams. One if puts his mind and heart at collision at that very moment would know how difficult it is to do so. It is because the dreams won’t allow them to do so. These dreams are so powerful that they if cultivated with the holy water of our deep sinking noble thoughts won’t let us feel agitated with ourselves, even on Monday mornings.

Now if one comes to know how to be in accord with our dreams, one cannot stop thinking , as to why not are we able to touch and talk to our dream, shape them up as we want, make them so achievable that they are always near to us. Dreams are no intangible, they are very much tangible and can be felt deep inside our heart, that keeps on pumping blood to each and every arteriole day and night. Control is the key. If we let our dreams wander in the jungle of our thoughts, they can lead us to no where, but sometimes miracles do happen. Dreams can be felt in each and every drop of water falling down from our wet and exhausted eyes. It is no dream but dreams fulfilled or broken, that make us cry and it is then and there when we are again accord with our selves and in turn with our dreams. If at that moment if one touches his eyes one can feel the push of his touch deep inside ones own heart. This is nothing but ones very own shy dreams that one has touched. When one is happy and when one is sad , it becomes very important that one talks to oneself and do introspection of ones heart. Think and find solutions to ones problems, and when one does it , one is talking to ones own dreams.

It is our dreams that shape our problems and it is the power of controlling our dreams that help our dreams to find by a natural process the solutions to our mundane problems.

So next time when you dream don’t take it lightly, it is your heart and mind in conversation with your soul.

Is it better to be poor than to be rich ?

A thought that has changed the very perception of what does it mean to be a rich person and what does it take to be poor. Its very easy to find an answer to a difficult question but its very difficult to find a question to an easy answer. And it is this thought that forced me venture into finding the bizarre question to an equally beautiful answer “I am happy”.

Have you ever imagined what happiness is? Is happiness only about finding a reason to be happy or more then that. Is happiness only about looking for an excuse to your daily problems. Is happiness only about being retrospective in order to find just a few droplets of happiness in the turbulent future that is your past now. It is a thought that will rattle the very foundation on which we define happiness and try to differentiate between a rich and a poor human being. A human who thinks that being happy is being rich.

What I am trying to find about is not happiness, I am trying to find the meaning of what real happiness is and in my own words I call it ‘Intense happiness’. Intense because the emotion attached with happiness is that of pain, suffering, trouble and anguish, like that of a sot looking for a droplet of wing in his carafe and when he finds it he reaches the zenith of ecstasy, the hallucination of wilderness with happiness.

Have you ever imagined how does it feel like under the sun on a hot summer afternoon in an African or an Asian country, when the sun is at its full exaltation. How does it feel when a person walking down the road under that earth ravaging heat trying to find a single slap of cold breeze, runs in mere desperation after a car fitted with an air conditioner. It is not the money that this person is expecting the rich man to pay him, which he is sure about, that he wont be the lucky one, but it is the cold window pane of the motor vehicle that he wants to touch and feel; not his whole body but only the tip of his hands, and by doing so he feels as if he has found the meaning of life again, the meaning of why he was born to breath. One can feel the energy of life oozing out of his soul and in turn helping the rich man to feel the guilt that he was never alive. But for that poor man it is happiness, its all that this person is looking for and he feels like as if he is in heaven. By a mere touch of the pane this person would be so happy is not imaginable but for this person happiness cost nothing, its just a touch away. Happiness has been left for some people to pay for and for others like the poor man its comes free of cost.

This poor man is not only happy but he can also feel the intensity of happiness and that is what ‘intense happiness’ is all about. It is not about suffering, it is about finding happiness in that anguish. It is about finding pleasure in drinking a cup of hot cheap coffee on a road side temporary build tea stall, on a hot summer afternoon and still derive pleasure out of it. It may sound a bit bizarre now but trust your senses ‘intense happiness’ is what ever one of us is either looking for and has already found it once in his life time.

Intense happiness means happiness that cuts through your senses and reaches your soul without disturbing your conscious, but the truth is, that, intense happiness is even worse than this, it is as if somehow we have cut our whole body with a razor sharp edge and we are still loving it.
A wealthy man can be made happy only if he is made more wealthy and feels sorry about himself if he looses some of it. On the contrary if a poor man is made wealthy this poor human catalogue reaches the glory of happiness and if this poor human is turned into a destitute he derives Intense happiness out of it.

The question here is not being rich or poor, the discussion is about being told the meaning of being happy; of being poor. It is the poor not the rich who experiences happiness in its very raw form. It is contrary to what people think but its true that its better to be poor then to be rich in order to find what real raw happiness is all about. Its about finding the question to the answer “am I happy”. Its about putting our heart and soul into action and asking ourselves this question. Is it better to be poor than to be rich ?

The Old Man!

One good, pleasant afternoon, walking down the road, I got a sight of an old man dressed in a rugged old piece of brown cloth. The colour of the cloth had faded due to the many climated traumas, it must have had to face.

Sitting on the edge of a small community park, the old man had a glass of water in his hand. The glass was slightly broken, although it didn’t seem to bother him at all, it was the piece of cloth that really mattered to him in that cold weather afternoon. The old man was also holding a stick in his left hand just to remind him of the various dangers of living on the street, there I could also see a small wall separating him from the park, where the children were playing, dancing and chatting to each other. Some of them were accompanied by their parents, to keep a close watch on them and also on others ……. like the old man..

In the eyes of this old man I could see water, the depth of his eyes and the water flowing from them reminded me of the bitter reality of life. There was pain in his eyes, anguish and frustration on his face; was he angry with me, because I had been staring at him for a long time or was it that he was angry of something else or may be his expressions where like that, frozen in time, may be it was so because of the similar circumstance he had been going through, of that of betrayal from others, loneliness, or that of finding a bower every night he went to sleep.

But in spite of all this, there was one thing that I could make out from his deep wild eyes, it was faith, it was the faith in him that had kept him alive to date. Faith in God, whom may be , he used to curse every night before going to sleep or may be in the morning when he could not find a bread to eat. But it was faith in God that had kept him alive.

I could see it from the curves on his face. The facial muscles were stretched but were not at all tense, there was this heavenly feeling, when the old man looked up at the sky, in hope that something , somewhere is watching him. The greatest achievement was this for him, keeping the faith on that unseen heavenly body, guiding him and helping him to stay alive.

A human mystery, 'GOD' !

NAME

Today at this ripe old age i have come to know about a fact. A fact that i should have known years earlier. My parents gave me a name when i was born. It is hard to understand but if one puts his or her heart and mind in synchronisation with each other one should know what this means. You are born naked with no extraordinary qualifications but still you are given a name. This name is chosen from a list of hundreds or may be thousands of other names. Our parents some how come to know about our qualities even before we have taken our first few steps.

But then we dont really realise the value of the name given to us untill one comes to some age and then one does start respecting one's name. But who will tell such an idiot that its not the only thing to do. In order to give due respect to the name that is yours, one should make a laudable flame of his fostered thoughts and turn it into a glorious flame so that one does not remain the only one to respect ones own name.

But then some of us may ask how to do that? how to make this laudable flame. As I always say there is a simple answer to many complex questions that life raises. In order to make this rampant game the first step is to stop raising such filthy questions or should i say 'blames on life'. The next step which by chance is the last step in the process of making a laudable flame is to endeavour...this step becomes your choice only when u choose it by chance. Once one has done that one can see the light of the flame in his or her heart blowing with pride and one can feel that ones name is not a cause of ones shame. Shame not from others but from within which keeps on disturbing us now and then. This endeavour is the only medicine which can help us to do introspection of our hearts.

Nobody really knows the power of this name bestowed upon us by our parents, it is our name that can rescue us from any prone, it can make our willingness to live life stronger, it can make our sufferings go by but then if we remain in our lull and keep blaming life ,none not even God can banish you from the hell of lull.

So it is time now for us, me and you to go and search for our thought ,to do a little introspection of our hearts. So that we make our name shine , refute those alligations on us , purge those topics, and with the shine of our flame , make that name a slogan of flame.

Kashmiri youth

I had a home, home in paradise! Kashmir. My parents, my Uncle, my Aunt, my Cousins, a total of seven members were in our family. I had a room of my own, hardly found in a middle class family in Kashmir. I loved it, I used to decorate the room now and then, I often used to change the look of the room but there was one thing that I never used to change and that was the white color of my room, the color with which one makes peace with.
There is one more thing that I liked in my childhood, i loved to sleep and dream a lot. Dream of becoming a Price! Price of the fairy tales.
I was in the crucial years of my career and I was planning to make my dreams come true, but then one day there was a big bang and I woke up from the sleep. There was a cry,cry to run away and in a fraction of seconds every thing changed, our family was separated . Most importantly I stopped dreamming because i didnt sleep, i became a patient of insomnia.
One can find thousands of examples like me, Kashmiri muslims as well as Kashmiri pandits, youngsters who dreamed of making a mark in life, who dreamed of doing something big in life in Kashmir but couldnt do it because of the ongoing turmoil in the valley.
Politically progress has been made lately, mostly influenced from foreign powers like U.S.A, the result is that there is a friendly environment between the neighbouring countries India and Pakistan. I have heard people saying very confidently that this time over there is going to be a solution to this menace. May be a couple of decades more thatz it. A couple of years one understands but a couple of decades.... n they the intelligent one.... tell me " u cannot expect a problem of 60 years to be over in a minute...do U"!
But by that time i will be an old man and my dreams probably will be overshadowed by the
volcano of other thoughts that keep disturbing me now and then.
I know I am not the only one whose dreams have vanished, there will be cases worse than this but what i am concerned about is.......... when I and people like me get older would they or should they help the peace process to reach the justified end or would it in any way help people like us who have lost it all (DREAMS) . If yes then how........ . I am equally concerned about the future generations to come, will they have to suffer the same that I had to suffer. It is a pitty that Kashmiris dont have a solution for their problems but the real problem is others dont have it too. This is indeed a human mystery...simple to understand but hard to solve.
Anyways.......Is anyone bothered about the people of Kashmir, its youth, is any body to help solve the problem. Help to make peace. Help to keep thousands of dreams alive?
IF YES
PLEASE HELP TO MAKE PEACE
GIVE PEACE A CHANCE
